Lately, we discovered (sorry we’re late to the game) that our website uses the nofollow rule. In order to get more search engine links and better results, we’ve changed this site to be a dofollow website. So, in order to help all the others out there, feel free to register your site here as a dofollow website.
We’re not sure how long we’ll keep this open as we’re relatively new. But, if you register your website, we’ll accept it as long as it’s not spam.

These are good tips for commenting in dofollow websites.
I also have a dofollow blog and get a lot of these spammy comments. I also gave the same tips in my blog. It’s weird that people go through all the trouble of finding dofollow blogs and when they finaly find these blogs, they do not invest the extra 5 minutes to actually read the article and post a thoughtful comment.

I think the above comment by ‘Mariskha’ is a great example of why you should never dofollow blog comments.
It just brings crappy spam comments to your blog that do not add to the conversation…

Have you considered adding WordPress Plugin – KeywordLuv it adds the option of including a name and a keyword rather than a name or a keyword, as i have opted to do, i think it adds more value to the comment, but of course it is your blog, just a thought, many thanks for the dofollow Lee

great! I’m glad site owners are having a change of heart. The nofollow rule really hurts the web and dones’t allow growth. I know http://advisingwriters.com/ allows it, you can add it to your list.
